Shell Art Gallery 

This Shell Art Gallery Collection was started by a Lady known as Ruth Lock. Everything is made from shells she picked up along all the beaches she visited. This is an inspirational visit for the whole family. 

Tsolwana Nature Reserve

Lying on the edge of the Winterberg range, Tsolwana Nature Reserve’s landscape is one of austere beauty.

Animals and birds that can be seen include ant bear, bat-eared fox, black backed jackal, black wildebeest, blue crane, Cape mountain zebra, mountain reedbuck, oryx, blesbok, Cape vulture, baboon, springbuck, dassie, eland, gemsbuck, kudu, lynx, mongoose and suricate.

Tsolwana's visitors can enjoy unique game drives, combining a 4X4 adventure with excellent plains wildlife viewing. There is also the option of guided or unguided hiking, horse riding, bird watching and rock art trips.

Koos Raas Nature Reserve Walk

This one-day, circular walk is located in a 271 ha reserve and easy walking trails have been laid out

Vistors may be spoilt with sightings of springbuck, blesbok, zebra, impala, gemsbok, kudu, hartebeest, wildebeest, rhebok and ostrich.
